If being confident is being narcissistic than I'd say it does make good traders or in the very least it's way better than not being confident. Some of the most successful poker players seem to have a high value in their self.

I've read that when reporting any broker fees for the cra you just add it to your capital losses. What about fees from trading software EG. Trade Ideas, TC2000 which are not part of my broker! Are you allow to report this?

When I report capital losses in my tax forms do I've to to list every company I traded with? I did not keep track of my losses or gains for each stock but only my total gain/loss and I've traded over 1000 different stocks so it's gonna be quite annoying if I gotta list each and every one of them.

Easier said than done! If your already up a couple of grand, or millions whichever you deem successful. Losing will always feel bad for me no matter what. It's only after a day or two off the stock market I can propose myself and figure out what went wrong.
