Is there one that aims at stocks and doesn't require a deposit? (I can't trust those...) I have zero interest or experience in futures/forex. I know so much about daytrading stocks but never had the money to blast off my trading career.

The problem is IB is not a foreign broker they're mainly US. They just have a Canadian branch. So I think the pdt rule will still apply if you trade US stocks. Unless that FAQ is grossly outdated.

That is only if you trade Canadian companies I believe which are pretty boring except for the marijuana stocks atm.

A pity. My only other option would be IB Canada but I am not sure if I can avoid the pattern daytrading rule with them.

$500 to $78,915 with $24,370 commission costs. In simulator. Doing around 600 trades from the period from May to July 2018. Not the best months. Live trading lost about $400 at the beginning of August. Next deposit will be in Sept hopefully that'll be a better month for me.

90% winrate would only mean your winners are so small it would hardly cover the commissions & losers.
