    Mark To Market?

I will try to clarify it a little. I made $745.11 that day. I had a $35 overnight short fee, $60 locate fees and $109 commissions so that totals roughly $200 in fees. $745-$200= $545 profit. I had around $900 cash balance so my next day cash balance should've been $900+$545= $1445. Instead...

    Mark To Market?

How does it work exactly? I've googled and asked support and I still don't quite understand it so can someone explain it in easy to understand terms. Lets say for example. I held 100 shares of XYZ stock and it closed $1 and went up $2 in AH. I sold it at $3 the next day in the premarket. So I...

The myth of letting your winners run

When it comes to daytrading stocks esp the leading gappers I believe intraday swing trading is the better strat. Short-term daytrading or scalping for small gains most of the time will just have you losing to spreads, battling commissions and making yourself more prone to fear & greed...

    Tradezero Strikes again.

Why do you feel the need to interrogate me. Every person I know and their grandma is doing it. Why don't you interrogate them too. Just because I openly admit it while the milllions of other ineligible Canadians who applied but don't openly admit it, then you have no qualms with them? I...

    Tradezero Strikes again.

That's a nice way to put it. Am I suppose to feel guilty for it? Cause I don't give 2 shits about u. If it's illegal call the CIA, but if the govt is just too lazy to prescan applicants which doesn't make it illegal then stfu and mind ur own business.

    Tradezero Strikes again.

Anyone in Canada can apply for CERB. You just have to pay them back once they find out your not actually eligible. They're just to lazy to prescan applicants so is it fraud? Maybe, it depends on how you view it. To me it's like a loan.

    Tradezero Strikes again.

Thanks, I've one of the best strategies, knowledge and tools when it comes to daytrading low-float stocks. But overtrading and emotional trading gets me all the time. I am wondering if I am just the kinda person that is not suitable for daytrading which I've tried to prove myself wrong over &...

    Tradezero Strikes again.

Yep, what really sucks was I was up $800 on Friday and $300 in premarket today. After around 4 years of losing money daytrading I finally thought I had this. I traded 2 weeks straight with a profit which never happened before. (I am usually bust within 3 days..) Then when 7 am hit everything...

    Tradezero Strikes again.

Also, I am confused but if they charged me $196 for that then my buying power should be accurate after a lot of consideration. Don't wanna stress myself out figuring out the exact math. All I need to know is to never hold any position at Tradezero anymore.

    Tradezero Strikes again.

I don't think those numbers are really relevant or easy to understand without the full picture but here goes. 70 share size, $19.21 close, buy-sell quantity 370-300, cost 0.00, closing price 12.60, sod unreal -196, real p/l $118.25, unreal p/l $0.00, total fees $9.28, net change $305.37.

ABIO -70 $19.21 370 -300 $0.00 $12.60 -$196.70 $118.25 $0.00 $9.38 $305.57 The -$196.70 was my start of day unrealize so that's how much this fee costed me with this mark to market thing. I am still really confused but whatever!

$35 overnight fee. So this fee is actually legit? I must be the only one who have no clue of it since I rarely hold any position overnight. But thanks for the explanation at least. I can now rip knowing how I got screwed. Also, it closed at $19 but I shorted it at $16.60 which was afterhours sigh!

    Tradezero Strikes again.

So I made a post previously about tradezero charging me $350 on an short overnight fee. Today, a new bizarre fee was taking out of my account! I shorted ABIO on Thursday at 16.60. I covered the next day at around $14.40 but the funds did not seem to go back to my account the following day. So...

Covered Short cash not in Account.

Covered 70 shares of ABIO at 4:10 am from around 16.50 to 14.61 on Friday from an overnight short and neither the equity or profit I made from it reflected back to my account. I only paid $37 overnight fees so I know I didn't lose it from that. I should be having at least $500+ more in my...

    Short Sale Restriction?

When there is SSR on a symbol does it last the entire day? Cause whenever I click on a different symbol and back again on the symbol with SSR the label disappears on my Tradezero platform and I am not sure if the SSR is still in effect or not.

    Aggressive order type error?

Stops don't work in premarket so it shouldn't have executed at all. I don't know about 20 years ago though.

If someone accidentally sell stocks for wrong price, is possible reverse the trade ?

I just made a post that kinda relates to that. It has happened before in the japanese stock market. The employee responsible got fired and the company lost a ton of money. (Don't recall how much.) https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/aggressive-order-type-error.345242/ In the past, a...
