Are there any brokers on MT4 where I can trade Bitcoin with no leverage ?

Can’t you just buy a partial coin? Thought that’s how bitcoin worked.

Futures SOS with DJUSAL and AA

Think you answered your own question. You based the trade of fundamentals and found out it follows aluminum spot prices. In my experience most miners track prices of their corresponding resource. Gold miners be a good example, gold rallies, the miners rally, some more then others. So since you...

Robinhood Is Making Even More Trades Free, Taking on the Options Market

I remember over a year ago I caught an interview on CNBC with their CEO I think it was. They asked for some stats like who was trading with them and most their clients we’re between the age of 20 and 30 and the average account size was below 3k or something like that. It was mainly people...

    Bitcoin debit card.

Guess that way would work as the merchant is getting US dollars on their end. I can’t quite grasp how bitcoin is ever suppose to be considered a currency with this volatility. Imagine being a merchant accepting bitcoin for a product and before you can exchange it to dollars you down 10...

Help With Evaulating Intra-Day Trading Systems

2017 has been pretty steady bull market. Take your data from 2007 all the way through to now. Compare your equity chart to SnP 500 chart and see if it provided a better risk/reward then a simple buy and hold. That’s a good first start to figuring out if it’s a strategy that you’d be willing...

    FX Tick Timestamp Question

The proper term your looking for is “ was it hit on the bid or ask”. Each trade takes a buyer and a seller. Without knowing the bid/ask at the tick theirs no way to tell. With time and sales most data providers would show the bid/ask at the time of the trade where you could tell where the...

    FX Tick Timestamp Question

A tick represents a trade. If multiple trades happen at the same price ticks should print side by side. If a trade eats up the order book and takes up multiple price levels, it will show with a bar instead of just a line for a tick.

    Finding non-buyout candidate for shorting...

Have you considered trading oil futures, an oil ETF or some sort of ETF of oil companies? Be diversified enough to avoid a single buyout. I’ve never crunched the numbers but commodity stocks usually follow the underlying of what they mine. Their are leaders and laggards especially depending...

    Data feed

Never seen a actual price for NXCore myself but it’d have to be pricey. It offers unlimited amount of real-time data for all stock markets and option markets, tick and level 2 I do believe. It’s a lot of data. They use IQFeeds networks and data centres but manage the feed themselves. IQFeed...

Amazon has just registered crypto domain names

That’s the same thing as reward points from many retail shops... We’ve had Canadian tire money for decades in Canada, that’s actual paper money... only worth what others want to pay for it lke anything ...

    Historical Data for Python

IQFeed and q collector or Esignal and QCollector Never used QCollector myself, used IQFeed directly in Amibroker. Pretty sure QCollector just puts the data into a .csv which you could easily use in Python.

    Question regarding PA

I personally saw volatility contraction( tight bars after a bigger move). It’s one of the many variations of pullbacks that I’ve had success which swing trading.

    BTC ATH tonight. over $6000/btc!

Hard for myself to view this as a possible currency to exchange for goods with that type of volatility.... I don't understand it therefore I don't trade it but for a trader looking for some moves just trade the hell out of it

First AI ETF is out, would you buy at all?

When you make a portfolio of 70 stocks it's going to be hard not to perform like a index ETF

    Holding 3x etf long term

It really has nothing to do with risk, it has to do with how those ETF's are built and their decay over time. http://etfdb.com/leveraged-etfs/leveraged-decay-the-dangers-of-long-term-investing-with-etfs/ If you we're to read the leverage ETF disclosure from the issuer it will say somewhere...

Can you identify this charting software ?

Freestockcharts, TC2000 and stockfinder 5.0 are all under Wordens. The reason I said stockfinder is because of the "Add Rule" icon at the bottom of the top chart

    Tradingview charts

Curious as to maybe it's just showing those traded on BATS exchange since I see BATS labelled up top beside the ticker .

Can you identify this charting software ?

I knew it look like tc2000 (telechart). It's called stockfinder 5.0. Not sure if it's an add on to tc2000 or a standalone product. It's their fancier scanning/backtesting software.

Why do stock index futures drive the prices of stock indices given that they're derivatives?

They both can drive each other. If they get too far apart theirs now a place for arbitrage. Plenty of firms that can take advantage of these differences. Same can go for an ETF and it's underlyings. Another example would be Canadian/U.S interlisted stocks, if spread gets far apart theirs an...

    Bitcoin is down huge!

Had to see it coming, they even banned selling video game currencies in 2009. The Chinese really seem to like to control their currency. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/chinese-government-bans-gold-farming_5
