    2 k futures account - $500 a week possible?

A better question would be, what's a realistic risk-adjusted return for a retail trader with a $2K account? My answer would be, if you accomplish a Sharpe's ratio of 3 and above, you'd be doing exceptionally well.

    2 k futures account - $500 a week possible?

No, it does not depend on anything. 25% weekly return is 11 million percent annual return.

    The fallacy of "continuous Kelly"

Start another thread, call it "Continuous Kelly", and politely ask a question about how to use it. I'll be happy to respond.

    The fallacy of "continuous Kelly"

A better analogy would be the swine (you) throwing mud around, and representing this mud as the pearls of your wisdom. Educate yourself before you impose yourself as an educator. Clearly, you don't understand what continuous Kelly is, and how to use it.

Ed Sekota famously said, "everybody gets what they want out of the market". The OP clearly wanted publicity, and publicity is what he got. Day 1: 62% loss, from 10K to 3.8K Day 2: 15% loss, from 3.8K to 3.2K Day 3: 35% loss, from 3.2K to 2.1K Day 4: 100% loss, from 2.1K to 0 To the OP, I'll...

After some consideration, God decided to disregard the OP's "it is extremely bearish" assessment, and pushed the QQQ to the new intraday high. This time, it's that god damned delta, instead of the theta! Oh, those options!

It's my understanding that the QQQ May 9 86.5 put expires tomorrow, Friday May 9. The last traded price was $0.35. That's what I thought the OP holds at the moment.

Now he's got to make a 376% return just to bring the account back to its starting capital. I love this description of the day...

    From $10,000 to $100,000 in 6 months.

Yes, it could. But it could just as easily stay below $595.34, with the calls expiring worthless. It's not the trade itself that I am questioning, but the size of it. If the price goes against the trade, this "10K to 100K" challenge would be effectively over, with the OP remaining balance of $1200.

He is down another 15% today, on top of yesterday's 62% loss. The thing is, even if both of these trades were winners, they would still be bad trades. That's because of his position sizing and bankroll management which virtually guarantees the ruin in the long run. It's very easy to see with the...

I think you meant to say that he was 10 long, not short. So, there is $3800 left in the account, right? Sounds like it will be over in 2 days.
