    Getting some money

Yep, looks like it's going to be yet another one of those "I borrowed 20k at 25% APR to trade Forex" threads. "Why did I do it? Because it's possible to make 50% annual return, that's why!"

Knights Landing supports double precision, too. The throughput would be 3+ teraflops. To me, the huge advantage of Knights Landing over GPU and FPGA is that it's x86 binary compatible. That is, I don't have to do anything esoteric (like OpenCL, Verilog) to take advantage of the massive...

Inverse ETFs to short European and Japanese sovereign debt?

My account is with Interactive Brokers, based in the U.S., denominated in US dollars. I think it would be quite painful to buy/sell the European bonds, as I imagine it would involve converting the currency twice. That's why I was looking for the equivalent European Bond ETFs, traded in the U.S...

    Backtesting FOMC market days

I'd like to backtest a certain ES trading strategy which would only run on the days when the FOMC (Federal Open Markets Committee) announcements are made. For that, I need to know all the FOMC days back to 2009. As I understand it, currently FOMC meetings occur 8 times a year, and the...

Inverse ETFs to short European and Japanese sovereign debt?

Thanks. All these ETFs look like they track equity indexes. I am looking for the ETFs that track the European and Japanese bond indexes in "reverse", so that I can short those bonds (i.e. short the European and Japanese sovereign debt).

Thanks, nitro. Isn't there a choice to use OpenCL to program FPGA? Additionally, have you considered GPU (as opposed to FPGA) as the hardware alternative for many-core computing?
