NinjaTrader with Trading Technolgies does not support Brent ICE futures contract.

TT basically charges the clearing firm $0.05 per side per transaction. Your broker/clearing firm will factor that into their overall commission charge. That fee, by the way, is one of the smallest inputs into the overall commission charge. I don't know what Zen-fire charges. I'm pretty sure...

NinjaTrader with Trading Technolgies does not support Brent ICE futures contract.

Well, it looks like this avenue (Elite Trader) is no helping to solve this problem. It's amazing, one of the highest volume futures contracts doesn't work in NinjaTrader when the Trading Technologies connection is used. cT

NinjaTrader with Trading Technolgies does not support Brent ICE futures contract.

I'm hoping Ray from NinjaTrader is monitoring this and can reply. And/or I'm hoping this forums sponsor, Trading Technologies, is monitoring this and can reply. I'm currently using NT with Zen-fire and have started experimenting with TT (Trading Technologies) to achieve lower commissions...

    Difference between eSignal and Zen-fire

Good luck. For whatever its worth, IMHO, unless you are planning on developing some type of software that is going to interface with any of these parts, having a detailed understanding is not necessary. If you want to understand it better because of fear of corruption, fraud or just plain...

    Difference between eSignal and Zen-fire

Hope you read the latest edit of my last message. I thought I would flesh it out a little bit. I finally got my mind into thinking about a lot of this stuff that I remember was confusing when I was just starting out. cT

    Difference between eSignal and Zen-fire

Brokers like Interactive Brokers, Tradestation, MB Trading, TD Ameritrade and eTrade to name a few, all have there own order routing technologies. I guess you could call it proprietary technology though they often will expose their technology via an api. Brokers like Mirus, as far as I know...

    Difference between eSignal and Zen-fire

We don't "need" zen-fire. If you trade thru Interactive Brokers software (I forget what they call it), that order will be routed without any involvement with zen-fire. If you send an order via Tradestation's software - no zen-fire. Same thing for the others I referenced. Pats and Trading...

    Difference between eSignal and Zen-fire

I'm not quite understanding your question. If you are asking what was available to the retail trader to electronically trade futures before zen-fire; there were and are a bunch of them. I personally have used: Pats Systems, Interactive Brokers, Tradestation Securities, Trading Technologies. I...

    Difference between eSignal and Zen-fire

This is from Chuck_T from the thread you referenced: " "The ability to trade on Zen-Fire data, from the eSignal OnDemand - Mini Futures platform packs an advantageous punch for CME Group retail traders. The combination of eSignal's comprehensive historical data, with the real-time data of...

Free backup internet connection if you have an android phone

Thanks illinimatt81. I've been looking for a good backup solution and this sounds good. This may be out of scope for this thread but I'll ask anyway. I haven't kept up with the smart phone world. What would be a good Android phone and service for the primary objective of a low cost and...

    NQ + Zen-Fire Continuous Contract?

Zen-Fire doesn't directly but NinjaTrader 7 does. Look in the Instrument Editor for Merge policy. It can be set to MergeBackAdjusted or MergeNonBackAdjusted - your choice. You can also see and/or edit the rollover days and the backAdjust offsets in the Misc Tab. Scroll down to Contract...

And rithmic does not have a similar fee? Thanks. Good to know. This will change the playing field :). cT

    Zen Fire Disaster

I don't understand all this talk about the cost of the zenfire data feed. I pay a ninjatrader platform fee that I would pay no matter what data feed I use and all the zenfire data is free which includes a pretty deep historical data backfill that zenfire provides via ninjatrader. How could it...

    Zen Fire Disaster

To heech or emg or anyone else familiar with rithimic and Ninjatrader. What about data backfill? It is my understanding that when using zen-fire/Ninjatrader, the folks at Ninjatrader are actually doing the data backfill requests. How does that work with rithimic? thanks, cT

    NinjaTrader on Windows 7 / 64bit OS

Anyone able to login with 64bit zenfire on build 21? I'm getting the same message: "Login failed: 'Zen-fire is not available in the 64-bit version..." cT

    NinjaTrader on Windows 7 / 64bit OS

Yep. That just about kills the usefulness of 64bit nt. It would nice if ray could give some sort estimate of when we will see a 64bit zen-fire version. cT

An open honest discussion on the state of Ninjatrader 7

Thanks Pro_Trader720. Very useful. Good to hear from the other side (a more bullish tone on NT7).

An open honest discussion on the state of Ninjatrader 7

Yea D. That implies to me they are still making basic architectural changes and/or data structure changes. Not very encouraging :(. I'm kind of stuck in limbo-land.
