Rangebound and false breakouts like this morning is nothing new. What is new is that three times this morning I saw a huge imbalance in the order book. Lowish hundreds ten deep on the bid, over 1000 lots per price ten deep on the offer, and vice versa. That isn't the usual spoofing around...

X-Trader is a quality product. Resentment doesn't come into it. As long as it gives people an advantage over the competition, by way of ergonomics, speed or reliability, they will use it. If/when it no longer does, they'll walk away. Simple as that.

No. Compare a Bund-Bobl spread chart to a Bobl outright and you'll see why.

I traded it for a while but found it pointless for my style (trendfollowing) because I can get the same directional exposure trading outrights at lower transaction costs. If you want to scalp it, good luck, there are plenty of autospreaders already out there.

Relatively being the operative word. Eurex's native stops are stop markets, not stop limits, so on NFP you do get a teensy weensy bit of slippage. :( Doublechin, do you have any stats on your approach?
