Keystone Trading - SCAM or not?

I agree syswizard...but if the SEC can come in any time and threaten to force you to spent 100's of thousands of dollars defending yourself, what are the prop firms supposed to do? And I'm sure someone is going to claim that what the prop firms are doing is illegal...but they would be wrong...

    Remote Trading for Newbie Trader

I agree that you should find some traders like yourself and use Skype. You can use it as a squawk box and keep the connection open all day for free. Much better than IM where you have to type.

Keystone Trading - SCAM or not?

Why is everyone saying this is a "scam". It's not a model I would ever trade in, but for a newbie it isn't bad. First, you pay a "training fee" of between $4,000 and $10000. The $4,000 is what Online Trading Academy charges. I have no idea if the training is any good...but if it is then its...

Genesis-based prop firm with low comissions.

My (positive) take on prop trading and Tuco

For what its worth, here is my take on the state of prop trading. I honestly feel that Tuco was an isolated event and will have no bearing at all on the future of prop trading. Firms that were doing the wrong things like Assent have changed their models. The problem with Tuco and Assent...

    Genesis Prop Firms

JC Trading definitely takes traders in the US.

    Genesis Prop Firms

The biggest by far is JC Trading Group....they are a sponsor here as well (www.jctradinggroup.com). Also, apparently they have a relationship with Nevis Trading (www.nevistrading.com)

    World Trade Securities

I looked into WTS a while back. All their different levels of membership had me so confused I didn't know if I was coming or going!! Plus it took me 2 emails and 2 phone calls to even get a basic question answered. Better off sticking to some of the sponsors of ET like Bright, Genesis, and JC...

    what should i be paying?

I have to disagree with you Scalper. Even if you have money up there is tremendous risk for prop trading firms. In my time, I have seen stocks halted with a trader on the wrong side of it; stocks taking off on news so fast that risk managers can't do a thing about it; and technological...

    Pairs trading software

I use this program everyday with very good results. Its not the holy grail of trading, just a logical market neutral trading system. Also, the developer is very responsive to any questions.

    Genesis Laser

You beat me to it Red Ink...Scorpion must be the biggest loser on ET. He must have lost all his money at Genesis and now blames them for it. I challenge anyone to post anything intelligent that he has posted. What a loser! Is there a way to block him so I don't see his posts? They are such...
