    different fractals simultaneously

I am looking for posts in which Jack Hershey explains his strategy of having simultaneously long and short positions in the same market, in different time fractals. There are so many posts by Jack, it's a daunting task to go through all of them to find this information. Can anybody tell...

    NQ/ES Pair Trading

on the chart 10 es versus 8 nq looks good, but then in trading you need an adjusted ratio for the different point value. question: why would somebody wants to trade the stock indexes on pairs versus outright?

Mental Ceilings and self fulfilling prophesies

About 50 pages ago, I wanted to reply but kinda forgot. I don't think setting different timeframe regimes for different market period is the answer for me. It's the rigidity I don't like. Using the driving metaphor: You can't drive and talk at the same time if you're a beginner. As a...

Mental Ceilings and self fulfilling prophesies

Talking about points is actually a fallacy, providing maximizing the amount of money we make is our goal in trading, instead of making "points". (including or excluding commissions is making the discussion even murkier). Regarding the "mental ceiling" issue; I do believe giving specific...

    Mental Ceilings ...Lessons from Jack

On fractals: What I am afraid for is the following: What if I am short on the daily, just putting in a short on the swing and at the same time I see an opportunity for a scalp on the short side and I take it. Then somebody with a fat finger takes out all the offers on good news. You...

    Mental Ceilings ...Lessons from Jack

What is the object of your research? Am I right to say that the hypothesis is that in order to maximize her returns an independant trader is best off to use the SCT approach? Cheers, appreciate your posts!

Is daytrading easier now than a year ago?

From my perspective it's a little harder because of increasing competition in the nasdaq scalping business.

Of course it can reach $3000 everything is possible, especially with the "fat-tail" distribution of the markets. What makes it highly unlikely in my view is that the seventies experienced a huge external price shock in the face of the oil crisis. and still gold didn't break $1000. There hasn't...

That it actually gets as bad as they try to get us believe it will. "But you still have an economy that is not borrowing, and you can't make people borrow. Going to get wild. If we don't have a depression caused by enormous debt defaults, the other side is gold at $3,000 an ounce." These...

    Scalping ???

re. stop busting; It's not hard to "know" where the stops are going to be. If a stock is rising from $4 to $5 everyone is going to know where the stops are going to be. So I, as a "nasdaq-local" will not offer the market at $4.95, no, I will buy it on the way to $5 and sell it right after it...
