Just the charts for the time frame involved along with volume. A simple bar chart with open close and obviousley the range and volume. Just have to know how to interpret what you see on a bar chart and how to correlate that with volume to get a view on where price will most likely go next. It's...

As long as there are charts, buyers, sellers, price movement, quotes, bid/ask, smart money, and markets to trade the tape can ALWAYS be used to trade. It worked in Livermores day without computers and it works today with computers. I see NO limited future for the tape.

You could be right and it may bounce back to 100 but I do not seeing it do so by monday. I see more weakness than strenght at this moment.

iceman1 I can't see what you see. I don't see VLO making 100 friday nov 11th or even the following monday. I think it will make a LOWER low Friday, tommorrow. It may recover some monday. I will know more after close friday. Just wait and watch it make a lower low tommorrow in the morning part...
