No, the whole world will help me as they have been for many months already. Typically, I like to buy first and then let everyone else buy after me. Just my preference. :)

Chinook, how does the book look in ECZ4? You seemed to indicate it had a sell imbalance. Can you give me the exact numbers? This is something I rarely look at. Where can you see it other than on a trading platform (which I don't use)?

Yea, I just sold some more at 111.25. Just building slowly. Chart has damage to it. However, could be creating a head and shoulders pattern with another leg up.

Now listening to the Ronnie James Dio remake of Aerosmith's Dream On. That's a pretty good one too! Come to think of it, any song is good when watching the EUR go higher. lol.

Listening to this song, "Wake me up" by Evanescence and Linkin Park. It's an awesome song to watch the EUR rally to. :)

By the way, if you really believe the EUR is going to see low 1.2800s tomorrow, please hit my bid for 100 contracts on Globex @ 1.2910. It's there for the hitting and more will be below.

Please Coinz, haven't you had enough losses? I mean seriously, we were debating this back when the EUR was 1.21-1.22. Obviously, you were dead wrong. If you can't see that the dollar is in the midst of one of the most significant depreciations on record, I think you might need some new glasses...

Tomorrow we are going over 1.3000 and staying there. Yen is much stronger which is pulling down EUR/Yen but EUR/Yen had a nice upside move last few days and is overall in an uptrend. I bet EUR follows the Yen stronger once Europe opens tonight and then New York will take us above 1.3000 early on...

Thank you, but I only know them as being about 10-11 ticks in my favor thus far. Does someone know something that I dont? Did European bonds have a big sell-off or are you just anticipating a sell-off of ZN due to the stronger stocks/weaker oil? Look at the chart of USZ4 (which is what I sold)...

Thanks, but why do you think we will gap down? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I just woke up from a 12 hour sleep. Of course, I bought some EUR as soon as I awoke :)

I'm a big seller of bonds now.

Incidentally, I'm starting to become an active seller of Treasuries for the first time in years. Maybe I should start a thread on Treasury mumblings...:)

Our good friend Coinz is back under the name fxsniper. Should be entertaining. Of course he is predicting a EUR crash below 1.2000. LOL

That's a nice performance Gringho. However, if I remember from reading your previous posts, you normally trade 30-50 contracts and sometimes up to 100. The point that I am making is that 15 contracts held for 8 figures would have provided you the same result. I recognize that if we knew for sure...

    Chinook's EUR/USD (E/$)Mumblings

I probably would have made the same amount as I have in the last few months if I had just held a core position at all times equal to about half of my normal trading size rather than actively trading from the long side in EUR and often holding sizable core positions but occasionally getting to...

    Chinook's EUR/USD (E/$)Mumblings

My personal nemesis is size. I tend to trade too aggressively and large for my own good. That puts undue pressure on me. At least I know where my demons lie. I just get very confident in my opinions and convictions and I want to make the most out of it but that's a deceptive trap unless you have...

    Chinook's EUR/USD (E/$)Mumblings

If you maintained an overnight "core" position, you had about +110 ticks in the trade at one point. Ratcheting up the stops to the point where the market was clearly 'doing something wrong' would have at least locked in a decent gain on the core position and allowed one to get to the sidelines...
