MY God Hsi down almost 1000 points

Gang Glad to see you and kiwi make peace with each other. It is just too easy to lose fellow traders in this market. Many of my previous HSI friends failed to figure out before being wiped out . It may sounds weird but sometimes I think long-existing fellow traders is a kind of asset, the...

MY God Hsi down almost 1000 points

What about setting a new record of gapping up after the lunch break ? ( I mentioned this in an ET post last week, violent counter-AM-trend huge lunch break gap ) We may expect HHI and HSI gapping up about 100-300 points in an hour, depending on what proportion of the rallies...

Why is Shanghai immune to this decline?

You have some good points . I also believe the policy-makers should be held responsible for our dilemma, though I am not sure , all the leadership is corrupted. I would rather believe that , the mistake in economic policy is due to lack of experience , rather than thorough corruption :-)

Why is Shanghai immune to this decline?

The Chinese government has been doing a shit job by transforming most of the national income into US treasury bonds. Now we have above 1000 billions of USD at the cost of polluting our air, extinguishing our natural resources , overheating and losing control of our economy..... And then you...

Why is Shanghai immune to this decline?

We Chinese also think the market is crasily high. But what can we do ? We can do nothing about it. We do not have a short sell mechanism for our stocks, we do not have stock index futures either, if you put money in banks, the inflation will eat you alive, if you want to invest in real estate...

Why is Shanghai immune to this decline?

SHANGHAI would not go down because too many overseas capitalS chasing Chinese stocks/ real estates here, betting on a steady RMB appreciation against USD

I invite top trds like Steve46, Gnome even Hershey to see this.

Hi ST Yes , you are right in calculation. But the system in your example ( similar to the system mentioned in the original post of this thread ) is exactly what this "C factor" trying to avoid in realtime trading. However it does not mean that the system is not profitable, it just means...

Hi win rate = winning trade number/ total trade number loss rate = losing trade number / total trade number

I invite top trds like Steve46, Gnome even Hershey to see this.

The following C is intended to measure the "painfulness" of a system if traded in realtime. The bigger C the better A=average win/ average loss B=loss rate / win rate C= A-B if C<0.5 system not ideal for realtime trading if C falls in (0.5-.075) system can be traded , but...

Either i'm tired or there is another problem.

Or you may consider the possibility of automating your strategy, if it has been proved to be robust and worthy of this. I think forex is a market ideal for automated trading, and can only be traded by automation , else there can be too much of stress even you make money due to long session
