I think there are different kinds of edges. Market makers have an edge that we regular folks don't. Then you have people who are really good traders and KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. I MEAN, THEY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. Those people can have edges and they know it.

I fiddled with it a little more. Reduced # of trades to 27, but got a win rate of 70.37% and profit factor of 9.72. Increased # trades to 46, with win rate of 60.87% and profit factor 3.34.

What do you guys think of these results? It was tested on 832 daily bars and had 36 trades. I'm not at all claiming to have made the best discovery ever, however, I'm wondering if these results seem good enough to warrant further exploration of this concept. Here is a performance screenshot...

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this has been bugging me. I am going to attach a chart of SPY. It has a daily chart and a 5 min chart. The close on 4/17 on the daily chart says 89.48. On the 5 min chart, the close is 89.655. I checked Yahoo and they have the close for that day as 89.56...
