It was very kind of Mr. Drummond to adopt Arnold & Willis when their mom died.

market reaction to space shuttle incident

I'd say none of the above. I'd say this horrible incident will trim about 500- 1000 spooz points from the open on Monday. Not a drastic down open by any means. My hat comes off to the brave men & women of the Columbia, and the noble sacrifice they have made.

    Did shortboy.com bite the dust?

Oh yeah Ryan, cutting and pasting a simple .gif file is so very tricky and time consuming

    Iraq is whispering something

It's not a matter of them getting their numbers wrong, but slanting everything to the left. Here's a paragraph from the observer article: <i>The US approach has been unilateralist here as everywhere else: it does what it likes as it likes, a policy that is now showing its limits. Bush...

This week's Onion cover story is oddly relevant: http://www.theonion.com/onion3902/new_economy.html

Sure cheeks, if you can bring back the old bull market, I'll even throw in a few extra sluts.

    What Was the Bullmarket Like?

Do you know the feeling you get, when you're eating fillet mingion, sipping cristal, and snorting up a giant pile of blow - all while being fallated by three incredibly hot 18 year old sluts? It was kind of like that.

    Outlook Express deleted inbox..?

I recently started to have strange malfunctions with my Outlook Express too, but running a full DEFRAG seems to have fixed it. If you haven't run a defrag in over a year, it's probably a good idea. On windows ME it only takes about 2 hours- much improved from the 12 hours+ it took on windows...

Unusual Options Market Activity with an Application to the Terrorist Attacks of Septe

If it was true, Bin Laden would have been granted a Nobel Economics prize for the scheme. After all, the Nobel committee granted a Nobel Peace Prize to mass murderer and inventor of airplane hijacking, Yassir Arafat. Terrorist abettor Kofi Anan- the man who covered up a Hizbollah kidnap/...

POLL: Will the S&P trade below the Oct. lows this year?

I was prompted to post this poll by the question being posed in the "Nasdaq bottoms today" thread. Note that I'm asking about S&P cash index levels- not Nasdaq. Honestly, I don't concern myself too much with direction- all I need is volatility. Still, it's always interesting to gauge...

Trading for Morons - tips, pros cons etc.

The so called Market Wizards are highly overrated. Richard Dennis and his little reptillian friends couldn't trade their way out of a paper bag. I'm not saying it's impossible to find your own path without a qualified mentor, it just lowers your odds quite a bit.

Trading for Morons - tips, pros cons etc.

If you're really just getting started, I'd stress your need for a highly successful mentor. 'Trading software' or some online guru isn't good enough. You need your mentor to teach you what to do, watch how you're trading, and correct your mistakes while explaining what you're doing wrong...

I'll take those first two, but trade the charisma for discipline or quickness.
