IB enforces this rule in Canada The Canadain banks don't.With that number of trades you should eventually qualify for the active trader rates. Etrade, Questrade and tradefreedom didn't enforce the rule in Canada. not sure about Scotia itrade.

Thanks I'm going to need it. As I compose this I'm now down just over 90 points. When you include commissions this puts me down $1896.20 I expected some whipsaw and drawdown but this is trying my patience. I could well end up being a poster child for the "Trend following doesn't work"...
