Could you go into how you enter a trade? Are you waiting for a conformation of the trend change or are you anticipating the change? Does your plan call for placing a stop when you buy? When do you move the stop? Do you set targets or use trailing stops?

Nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. You don't need to post the charts just a simple entry price/stop/and target will do. The only credible journals are those posted in real time. I'm a pretty damn good trader when I use the left side of the chart.:D

Do you have a data feed from a broker coming in? I use IB with quote tracker for charting.

How much data do you use per month? I am planning on doing the snowbird thing in the Yuma area and am looking for ways to acces the internet.

Looks like you can papertrade button trader with a sim account for free. Give it a try. Good trading.

Are you trading more than one instrument? Bracket trader does all the above except when you open or close the DOM. I'm not registered because I only trade one e-mini but I believe if you register you can open multiple platforms.

IB's Book Trader? You can configure hot keys and buttons. I use Bracket trader and have not had any problems. However I only trade one instrument.(NQ) What features are you looking for ?

Take alook at bracket trader. A great program for managing a trade. Best part if you only use it for ES it's free. Works realy well with IB. I've been using it for about a year now and have had no problems.

To get the active trader rate you have a minimum number of trades per quarter. If you don't make that # your cost is $249. IB under 700 shares is still cheaper. Also to take amonth off at IB costs less. I would think it would be easier to turn features like level2 off and on at IB

not so!!! You can open a TSFA with any discount brokerage and make as many trades as you want. You might have trouble day trading because of the time(3 days) it takes to settle.
