Yes I saw that article. I think the longterm trend could mean it goes as high as $1200 as well but nearterm I'll take $800 first and then $860. I have a tight stop so we will see if its profitable trade. I suspect if it breaks out about $775 it will be very profitable. Time will tell.

Stocks are heading higher. The nation? Idk, I think the economy will continue to improve. I had a record year in my business and expect 2017 to be better than 2016. Politically it will likely be one entertaining year.

No offense taken. I am a big boy and showed how that trade matured as much as possible. But I got out when it was clear to me the market didn't care what I thought. I can not always post in real time but that trade I did.

I never bet the farm. I try to use good solid risk management rules to be able to survive these situations. The 8% jump was not TA. It was people evaluating the news and thinking maybe it was no big deal and the big money luring the sheep to slaughter because they could not get out fast enough...

These are just stock symbols with prices associated with them. You can not will the market to do what you think it should do. No matter how logical your reasoning is the market will do what it wants to do and none of us can change that. All we can do is identify which way that is and look for...

So that 8% jump pre market just brought in more sellers for a 1.2% gain at the end of the day. This may eventually turn around based on your fundamentals and Japan news but as far as I am concerned this trade is dead from the long side for now.
