    IB/cybertrader/ameritrade...

Ameritrade did me the biggest favor in Oct by raising their rates. It forced me to look for a better broker, IB. At $8 a trade, the commissions were not that bad, but IMO the fills and speed of IB are way better. With AMTD's new rates, IMO there is no comparision between the two.

    IB/cybertrader/ameritrade...

(on IB) I find that downloading the TWS interface, and running it from your desktop works MUCH better than loading it from the webpage. I didnt like IB TWS at first, but I do now because once you learn it, and deal with getting it set up, it is way faster than web based trading apps

What good do daytraders do to society?

    Tight Stops Nightmare!

Cathy had some great comments on the rally being long in the tooth, as well as the hazards of low liquidity stocks. I personally like the big etfs, or at least stocks over 1b Anytime you are dealing with a stock under 500m, anything can happen, its very hard to control capital. Also...

    Todd Harrison is writing again

(I would rather he spent his effort trying to be clear) For example, I remember he mentioned he has standing aside for an event, he said "Beeks!". I looked this up in his dictionary. Apparantly, "Beeks" was a character in a movie, I think "Trading Places", and Beeks means goverment...

    Check out this anti-Mac commercial

I am surprised that the VW is popular in gay culture (and anti war/hippie/yippie before that), given that it was Adolph Hitler's pet project. I dont think he liked any of those types.
