i don't need\not looking for this data. as i said above-all i need is accurate EOD close price for current day for stocks traded on US exchanges(from multiple sources for a cross reference). that's all.

when i place request for EOD quotes-the prices(or date of last trade) in returned query are incorrect. not many(like 10 out of 2000),but enough for me to be skeptical about current yahoo's data quality. i don't want ANY uncertainty. that's why i'm using multiple sources

confirmed-yahoo eod went to s**t. glad that i made back up from IB. IB and IQ prices match perfectly so far.

i'm also curious, if goog did recoup their 1B from youtube? i remember, when they bought them -it also look like a ridiculous amount of money. but imo-youtube has i bigger potential when it comes to adds than some sort of messaging service.
