Ok. I will give you the benefit of doubt and assume you are just trying to conduct some marketing research for school homework. Trader Lesson 101: What is in it for me? Thus, how much are you willing to pay for that info and my time to answer that?

    Non-resident US bank account

Why go through all the trouble in this day and age of globalisation? Assuming you are based in Europe, the easiest way is to ask your local bank to open a USD denominated current account. Usually, these accounts pay a small interest, accept cheque deposits ( sometimes needed to be able...

    about tradestation

Fair enough. Plenty of choice. So what is the problem then? Are all the product offerings equivalent in value? If so, why do you even need to consider TS? Is it maybe because there could be more to it than just a simple free data feed. Backtesting software perhaps? Better charting package...

    Excel 2007

I use Excel extensively. I migrated to Excel 2007 from 2003 and used it for a while. Pros: 1. The files are considerably smaller. So saving times have been considerably improved. 2. Lots of rows available. No more 64K limit. Cons: 1. Did not notice any measurable macro running...

My goal is 15% a year... so what strategy?

Get a job, any job will do ... you can then decide how much effort you can afford to put in and 'they' will reward you with about 15-20% of it for it. Easy does it.

    Market Data Link for Tradestation

I tried that few months ago and I found that: 1. It provides (exports) only a small subset (limited number) of market data fields i.e. bid, ask, last, etc. 2. When I tried with 500+ symbols, I found that after a few minutes the data updates (values) were really lagging behind the actual...

    VWAP at DTN

I think you should chek the data. It has been more than 6 months since I last checked. I can only point you out to the few reliable sources I know off. They include the usual suspects: Reuters (or Metastock Quote Center), Bloomberg, Realtick, Tradestation. Happy trading.

    VWAP at DTN

eusdaiki, Last time I checked, the value was available as one of the market data fields. However, I would strongly suggest to cross reference this value against another reliable source. Last time I checked, there were quite a few large discrepancies. IMHO Happy trading.
