TWS has been having major problems since Monday afternoon. it shutdown on me at around 4:00am EDT with no warning.

I am on a different ISP plus I have other broker feeds that did not have the same trouble today. As of 6:23 pm EDT TWS is still dropping the connection and no acknowledgment from IB about the issue.

Ok, thanks. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my network. Maybe IB will notice that they are dropping connections left and right since they don't appear to have any clue right now (no bulletins).

Anyone else having trouble with IB today? I have been bounced and reconnected several times this afternoon.

When you compare the cost and features, Sierra Chart is a great deal. I have only been using it since January and my monthly fee has gone DOWN. Can't remember when that last happened with any other fee... They are very good at responding to questions on their forum and you can try it for free...

What is sad is that you use these message boards and your trading website to feed your ego or gain sympathy from your followers. I never attacked you personally but when you make public trading calls you can expect there will be some folks to call you out if you start shading the truth.

True enough. He would have been stopped out on the majority of this position into yesterday's RTH close but he is pretending like he is still holding the whole thing and never mentioned this fact. My doubt about this being real money or honest positions is very high now.

Placed hard stops btw 1012.25-1015 for all I am carrying the largest ES position of my entire career. Now I am going to have a few dogs and some pop corn. Watching it like this doesn't do any good. Size requires respect for stops that is all I can do. I will let the other kids enjoy Coney...

It was awhile ago that I used it but I never liked the UI and I don't remember them having as many complex order types/functionality as IB. I tried to use it for awhile but got fed up with it finally and was not willing to pay more for less.

I didn't care for it at all but it was better than their earlier platform. They still seem to be playing catch up with IB TWS and that is not good. TWS has problems but once you find a stable version it is good enough. I found RJO's commissions to be quite high also. You would be better going...
