Optimal route is to never take the route to begin with. Trading destroys. But if you persist, one advice would be to BET BIG on sure things. I know 99.9% of the morons in here would disagree with me.. but, TRUST ME on it, I've been around the block. :D

I live in an Apartment. My parents talked me out of buying a house because they felt I am at a formative stage and I might have better job offers elsewhere.. Then, if something like that happened, then it would be a hassle to sell the property quick enough etc and get the money you paid etc...
