Thanks for that. Worth watching since spread betting on the Dow in the UK consists of advertised spreads at 4 points but actual spreads anything from 10 to 20 plus.

Many people in the UK trade CFD's, or worse - spreadbet. For those who trade intraday the above methods are suicidal because of the wide spreads and (spreadbetting) biased prices. More people in the UK are looking at Futures trading (narrow spreads) and the use of US brokers such as...

face up to it Downtickboy....you will not find the holy grail here. Stop bleating, blow the cobwebs from your mind and do the hard work necessary for success - study etc. Don't expect anyone here to hand you the holy grail. Everyone has his/her method of trading, some methods are bits...

Re the Tom Williams book mentioned above: I bought it some time ago and found it extremely educational and full of common sense. Whilst not the holy grail it nonetheless gives me confidence when trading. As for the software, I am told it is currently being updated. Not being a user of it...
