Some philosophies describe the world as maya meaning illusion . I think the idea is to transcend this world through work , as in mind work like meditating and purification of mind etc Then a hidden world begins to reveal itself .

If God prevented evil and only allowed the good then humanity essentially wouldn't have free will .

Thing is , a peaceful mass protest could have mobilized the dems election hopes and captured millions of centrist - middle voters . The rioters (who are seen as dem voters) have now scared the middle who don't support Police brutality but want to see law and order.

Looting and rioting are now barriers to sympathy that was previously secured .
