You make a valid point. Depends also what an edge is based upon. If you know 90% of traders refuse to follow a certain tactic for optimizing profit, then it's highly unlikely to lose that edge. Also, imagine if one's edge is based upon the cyclic nature of markets. If the market never ends...

That's very interesting stewbacca. My edge is the plain-ole adding contracts when market moves in my favor. Sometimes it's just intensive and conscientious practice based upon mentorship, study, research, and analysis until a trader/investor finds what works.

Not sure I understand your reasoning since all markets are moved by time. A type of price chart does not move price, all prices are in harmonic relationships and attuned to time, because human nature, emotional/behavioral activity in the markets are moved by time.
