I agree with your post....its when i start seaching for MORE ideas when i lose money...all i need is 1 or 2 good ideas to start the day. I trade then then thats it....I need to just take whats there and quit....The times when i make the most money is when i get on a good winning streak its then...

great advise...this will also help with the brutal swings that come with trading...its better to just nickel and dime em everyday then to have big up and BIG down days...makes it much easier to sleep at night also......slow and steady wins the race...who needs the stress of going for homeruns...

well a good reason to stop trading for the day is bad days usually get worse....when you are not trading well its cheaper to just quit,, regroup and live to fight another day

Do you guys trade with "circuit breakers" when you get down a certain amount you are done for the day. Or up a certain amount you quit. The problem that i have been having is i make money most days but i always seem to have Huge down days...i love being on a winning steak and I hate losing...
