The trader said he trades over 200 miilion shares a year. If my maths is right .001 per share discount equates to over $20,000 . That covers a few overheads. If he gets an even better deal - and he can - then the savings would double.

Nitro, With Hotcomm you get to see a traders whole screen live. Isn't that what you are looking for? It is interesting, though, that all the live rooms I have been on only show the monitor with charts, not their platform (or they only show the platform very briefly).

It was cumberson to place trades, but the new matrix platform looks much, much better. Now I use buttontrader, a frontend for IB.

I think Medved QT is 10 days (not 5)charting now.

I use medvedqt, ts2000i, and wealthlab at the moment - all running off IB feed. (the medved feeds into wealthlab). Wealthlab is great for backtesting but probably TS2000i has the edge on charting. Tried tradestation but didn't like the platform for scalping- although the new matrix looks...

I trialed it and thought it was good. But they don't have an active forum where you can exchnge ideas. You write to a yahoogroup and someone might or might not reply the next day.

Gamal, I think it will help the others on this thread understand your perspective if you explained you have only been trading live (mini-forex) for a few weeks.
