Same here. I make it a point to listed to the two Anthony Robbins CDs I have once each quarter: 1. personal power I (late 80s early 90s). 2. awaken the giant within It's $25 well spent.

I have transferred accounts both in and out. Less than a week in both cases. Both were easy and had no problems.

Personally, I think Murray R. is the "real deal". I've learned more from his articles than from most ohters combined. I've also purchased some of his material in the late 90s. Whether TraderStudio is worh anything, I have no idea, as I haven't ever used it.

It's most likely Excel that's taking a lot of cycles. I suggest using the Task Manager, Rick click on Excel and lower the priority just one level. For all practical purposes Excel will run at full speed and the rest will get priority. This will mostly likely give you a more responsive...

Companies are willing to pay for support and upgrades. Why do you think large corporations buy 1000s of Linux licenses from RedHat at $1500/year when they can get it "free"? Business is business and hobby is hobby. You have to seperate the two.

This is good news. Please consider lowing the stock commissions as well. Ideally .5c/share independent of volume. That would again make IB competitive with stock commissions.

I've used IB since 2002 and have had an overall good experience. I like the universal account and the simplification that brings with it. I now trade exclusively though IB. Futures commissions are very good for retail, imo. Stocks are a tiny bit high, since it's tough to get to .5c/share...

just a note of caution: the GPU's do all sorts of funny things to the floating point numbers to calculate fast. Remember, that the precision ultimately just needs to be one pixel (I realize this is a simplification, but anyway). A better choice might be some of the AMD based cards that offer...

this is a simple and good idea. It's always good to know what fill rate you need in order to stay positive. You'll always get filled on trades going against you, so there is a significant bias here.

Since this issues seems to be ignored at present by IB, I suggest we each file a ticket using IB's ticket systems. Then the issue at least gets logged and tracked.
