You just made the case for McCain if you ask me. I would look to Africa, the Middle East, Asia, South America, Central America, and even Europe's choice and I think to myself, I need to vote for the "other guy".

Don't worry everyone. Obama is going to fix it by raising capital gains taxes, taxing big corporations, and punishing the rich (successful) and increasing welfare.

I find it pretty interesting that everyone blames the politicians and banks, but not you don't often hear people blaming the US consumers that have overspend on credit and took out mortgages they could never have afforded.

Without BANKING action, no foolish loans COULD have been accepted by those consumers. It cuts both ways.

How is it not foolish for a bank to offer a loan that they know will likely default? Unless of course you know that you will be bailed out. In that case maybe it makes sense to make money on both sides of the bubble. There is a never ending amount of people that will sign onto a $600k...

I don't see any one group that caused this fiasco. It seems like there is plenty of blame to go around to all involved. Politicians, banks, mortgage brokers, consumers, mortgage recipients. EVERYONE was greedy and asleep at the wheel.

As soon as they start confiscating our guns, it's time to adopt a "live free or die" attitude in my opinion. And most likely I (we) will have to make that choice in my lifetime.

Palin has WAY more executive experience than Obama. He's just much more versed on many of these issues because he's been running a presidential campaign since the day he was voted into the Senate.

Please. Obama was destroyed in most of the swing states by Hillary (by large numbers). Obviously this is a democratic year, but for many reasons, Obama can't close the deal. Had the Republicans nominated ANYONE that could communicate toe-to-toe with this guy, it would be over.
