    Bill Miller says buy.

Be careful not to mix up a 'market call' with a 'marketing message'.

Goldman Sachs earned 4 pennies on India deal

It's called the long con. Work your way in, worry little about short term profits, but look to maximise them long term!

$600 MILLION more going towards bailing out those in foreclosure!!

I like the quote from Mish's Blog re all the bailouts - "Stop please, we've been saved to death"

    Only in California

Another solution is a bloodless military coup. Let the Army take over, through the useless politicians out, clean house without worrying about having to worry about future votes and then 5 years later stand down and have normal elections. If things don't get better over the next 1-3...

Same thing, the Cypriot banks are fully of very dirty Russian money. And I mean FULL of it.

200,000 traders around the world have already chosen InstaForex

Eka You define yourself as a scummy bucket shop by giving your clients so much rope (1000:1) to hang themselves. Then you have the audacity to pump it up as if it's some sort of advantage. Sure, it is an advantage, for you not your clients. No decent broker, one that cares about their...

Love the way these scummy bucket shops tout high leverage as an advantage to the client!

    Goldman settles for 550MM

This reminds me of the old Meyer Lansky quote when he was taken down for a visit to the Stock Exchange floor - 'I joined the wrong mob' Funny, but so so true at the same time.

    Playboy going private....but

So many girls with lowclass ink these days. Wonder if they'll all think they'll look as cool when they're heading into their 40s? The person or company that invents a proper tattoo removal proceedure could well end up as one of the richest people on the planet. Ink is in fashion no doubt...

Which is it? Bear Market or Bull Market Correction

How can the market be classed as anything but bull as we haven't taken out any of the major lows. Remember everyone, unless you're CNBC it takes more than a 1 down day to turn the longer term trend lower. It also normally takes more than a few weeks of negative price action to turn the...

    At what price BP?

£3.05 is a massive fib level. £3.05 - £3.15 looks a sensible buy if of course it gets down there.

Reuters : FRENCH PM – I ONLY SEE GOOD NEWS IN PARITY BETWEEN EURO AND DOLLAR

Funny how the phrase 'green shoots' seems to have gone right out of fashion. Around the turn of the year all one heard was 'g-s' - 'g-s' - 'g-s'. Some call it reality, rather than wishful thinking.......

How client "A" manipulated coffee futures...

What's the problem here? The client wanted to try to squeeze the market and force some weak hands to cover. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes the client will will, sometimes the weak hands won't be as weak as he thinks and so he'll lose. What next, are the regulators going to go...

USA stocks 0% profit for past 10 years

Same in the UK. One of the reasons I believe is management and advisors take so much money out of these firms that there's little left to propel the stock price higher over time. Great racket for the insiders, lousy deal for the stockholders.

Saxo under probe in Denmark ?

Smooth and slick marketing from any company usually means they're always going to get the better end of the deal. This is espeically the case when they're trying to sell a 'dream'.

    CFD trading

So much wrong info on this thread. Not one broker has gone bust who offers CFDs in London, not one. Only fools and amateurs trade CFDs where the firm makes the market. Therefore all non-idiots use DMA (Direct market access) where the dealing prices (and size) are 100% the same as cash...
