SEED actually has some institutional ownership, that could be a bad thing for daytrading because I'm sure the institutions will dump in size if this move gets out of hand.
Looks like SEED, SDTH, and NOEC are all moving, they are fertilizer/chemical companies, actually, the fundamentals are ok for most of these companies, which means they probably won't go up much compared to the past crap like JRJC and CHNR. lol
We are reaching the terminal phase of the bull market where the bears just throw up their hands and give up, this summer was the perfect storm and the market just shrugged it off. The market will probably go up almost everyday ahead of the Santa Claus rally which will be sold in December when...
This is classic contrarian action in the market, people were bearish for the past 3 months and now that they've turned around and become bullish, you have to give these oxen some rope to hang themselves. Things will not collapse right away, I think you gotta wait for a false breakout to have...
The markets move illogically only in the present, in hindsight, it moves just as you would expect. Because the market foresees the future, while most trades only can see the recent past to guide them towards the future.
We're in the middle of the parabola stage of a bubble, usually when the moves are the largest, but also when the reversals are the sharpest.
One thing people have to recognize is that the internet bubble had stages where some sectors were more in favor than others as the bubble went on, and...
At least the guy isn't pumping and dumping his stock. He's publicly stated how bad the mortgage market is, and doesn't try to paint a pretty picture on a bad situation like some other CEOs.
I see nothing wrong with him selling shares.
I think the market would have rallied even with just a 25 bp cut, instead of the 50 bp. With the 50 bp cut, its just going to make the top come that much faster.
The 25 bp cut really would haveripped the hearts out of the bears because the bulls would have conserved much of their...
I think we'll see the top on Halloween, when Bernanke causes all the shorts to panic cover and then it will be straight down from there. Until Halloween, DO NOT SHORT.
Crude oil refuses to stay under $80, and stocks are getting frothy. I am hearing new explanations for why the market is not expensive, the bears are in hiding and afraid of this market. Profit margins are at extremely high levels and will be hard to sustain as history suggests.
We are in...
I am not currently trading, my capital is tied up in real businesses right now. If I had some free capital to play with, I would short right now. and scale in. I just need to take them public and dump the shares to the dumb daytraders. LOL
You are basing your prediction based on what you read in Market Wizards? How do you know its going to keep going higher and higher?
Its probably not THE top, because there is only 1 long term top, and odds of catching it are small, but that's not the point. If you short here and hold it...
In a deflationary environment, the US dollar would be worth MORE, not less. It is the opposite of inflation. And US credit falling apart happens in both deflation and inflation, what's the difference in paying back loans with dollars that are like confetti(inflation) or not paying them back at...

Deflation is a rare phenomenon, so many historians are fascinated by the Great Depression (like Bernanke) and the Japanese style deflation that they forget that there is rampant examples of inflation throughout history and currently in many emerging markets but very rarely examples of deflation...
