Yes. This is the downside to it but I compensate by playing ultra conservative the first hour. I must be doing something right as I make it to the money quite often. The nice thing about online play is that you can move around enough to cover your tracks. :)

These days there is no reason to store important files on your hard drive. Keeping them separate allows you to restore/reimage your system if/when a problem arises. Once you get in the habit you no longer need to live in fear.:)

I think the best bet out there are the rebuy tournaments as long as you dont rebuy yourself. These guys are nuts. Some of them rebuy a dozen times and a lot of them make stupid plays because they know they can rebuy. I love the odds they are giving me.

The problem with breakouts is it is very hard to predict how far it will go if it does breakout especially to the upside. For this reason I only trade breakouts to the downside. I trade Fear. I am a Bear.

You and a few thousand others. It is really uncanny how similiar the learning curve is for most people. The only way out of it that I know of is an ironclad trading plan and the ability to stick to it. The setup(s) must be laid out to the smallest detail, entry, exit and stop.

I have not been able to get any help with this problem and I suddenly thought of this board as I know there are some tech savvy people here. I installed a Nvidia Gforce 6600 video card and now I have no sound. I can uninstall it and the sound is fine so I know its something to do with the video...

After watching the minis for a couple of years I think most of the time the moves are too random to use a system on. The only time I find any predictable moves are when you get a large move and trade the pullbacks but it is very hard to wait around for those days.

One thing I like about your journal is it points out how much alike we are. Seems we (or at least most of us) fight the same demons day after day.

Has anyone here witnessed live random entry trading that worked? I would sure like to see someone do this. I have read this same proposition in a number of books but I have never read an authenticated journal of anybody doing it. Anyone have any links to such proof?

Here is the complete chart for the day up to that point. It was ES thursday. It was my third short of the day. The first two worked very well. ADX was over 30. This one cost me a small loss. My stop was over the high of the entry bar but I did not wait for it to get hit when we started moving...
