I looked at amibroker awhile back and noticed that they use the dde connection with IB rather than the api. Would this make a difference, I wonder?
p.s. I use Quotetracker and have never had any problem opening any number of charts. It is free if you dont mind the ads.
When I read this I thought "how can you trade 40 lots on a 30k account" but did some checking and found that the margins on ZN and ZY are only about a third of the margin for ES. Why are the margin rates on these contracts so low?
I am trying to run the excel programs you designed in the Grob/Hershey thread. I want to run the stretch/sqeese and the prv side by side but cannot get them to run at the same time. If I start one it starts over the other one on the same page. Is it not possible to run them both? Any help would...

The big advantage to trading over poker is that if youre good at it you can, in most cases, make a lot more money. The way in which they most resemble each other, imo, is that you must learn how to lose and move on in order to succeed.
QT rocks. Went back and forth for a couple of years but have settled into quotetracker. Dont know exactly why but I like it. Support cannot be surpassed by anyone, imo.
