Here is a side by side comparison, both charts having a $1000 range. If you made the ER2 chart a range of $2000 they would appear almost identical.

I am reminded of the analogy of the dog on the leash. ES is holding the leash and ER2 is the dog. Your overlay is probably a percentage move chart and percentage wise they are very close. Dollarwise ER2 moves about twice that of ES.

What is the problem with resolution in the lcd's? I dont want anything larger than a 19 but my current 19 crts have 1600x resolution and I would have a hard time getting everything on 1280x but thats all I see on these lcds.

If you trade every zero line cross and every ma cross you will get creamed. I really think some descretionary skills are needed to make this work.

You can see that I am basically trading flags which is what I have been doing all along but the macd helps me quite a bit as I have had a bad habit of early entries and impulse trades and this little system keeps me in line. Amen to that. Nice smooth morning. Havent looked at ER2 yet but 3 nice trades in YM. Entry and stops are easy but I am still working on my exits. Today instead of fixed targets I am using a close above the sma to exit. Seems to work about as good as any.
