I find these formations extremely hard to trade. A parabolic move up in the morning then a sideways or slight downward pennant. I wont do anything until I see a convincing move one way or the other. There are just too many fakeout breakouts.

Thx but I dont see any reason to change anything. The 3sma+2 does an extremely good job of catching the meat of these parabolic moves if I could just have a little more patience.

I dont disagree with what your saying but your stop is probably larger than my daily loss limit. Those of us trading on a shoestring have very few choices about what and how we trade.

Percentagewise ER2 and YM move about the same. The main difference is that ER2 moves about twice that of YM moneywise. Your reward for a typical move is twice that of YM but your risk is also twice that of YM so I think it depends on your bankroll and experience. I dont think there is all that...
