    options on crude oil ?

That's good to hear, but what about the margin ? Do I need to deposit one if I want to trade the options...? A leverage of 6.6 is pretty lame... Marsupilami

    options on crude oil ?

Hm, it seems that one has to put up a margin for the Kospi options, too, since the options are based on the Kospi future...so I guess there is no way to get around that 15 % margin...please correct me if I'm wrong. BlueHorseshoe, which broker do you use ? What are your commissions ...

    options on crude oil ?

Thanks Bebe, I'll look into it. I've discovered several Korean Futures Brokers, there is a big variety out there. Here are two examples: http://www.hyundaifutures.com/english/ and http://www.yesfutures.co.kr/english/ So far I've found out that the Kospi 200 Future requires a...

    options on crude oil ?

The KOSPI is wild, it is the most liquid future in this solar system - even more liquid than the German Bund, and it moves, it moves... I just need to find a broker that trades that Future...

    Russell 2k

The ER2 is quite special. I'm planning to move around 10-15 contracts at once in the Mini-Russell. How big is the average best bid/ask in that future ? Marsupilami

Lions Futures - any experience ?

Does anyone have experience with Lions Futures ? I am thinking of opening an account with them. As far as I have read, they are an introducing broker (IB) of Transact. They offer various platforms, such as Trademaven or TransactAT. What is the advantage/drawback of chosing an IB instead of...

    E-mini data question

Hm, maybe I really should do some serious studying. I always thought that stops in the ES were native, i.e. in the Globex system. I know that with the Cbot, this is not the case, so if you are trading the YM and the brokers's software goes down, you're in trouble. Same thing for ES now ?

Can we trade FTSE100 stocks from US

But look at the spreads, the spreads.... Maybe these are weekend quotes, but a spread of 2 points in the S&P is extreme. I often scalp for 1 or 2 points in the ES ( S&P Future).

    E-mini data question

What exactly do you mean by that, are mental stops better than (non-)native stops ? Greetings, Marsupilami

    E-mini data question

Fishbird, now this very interesting. You write, the ES made a 80+ move down, I guess it was on 9/11. How fast did the ES move ? How many ticks were there per minute when this move happened ? I know that currencies and bonds can move extremely fast ( spike ), what is the maximum speed (...

    ES vs ER2

I Have thought about making use of the correlation between the ES and ER2 to circumvent the liquidity problem . For example, the ER2 gives me a signal which I would then trade in the ES...I don't know if that is smart... but as I know how fast the ER2 can move, I am somewhat scared about the...

    ES vs ER2

When does slippage become a problem in the ER2 ? Could one easily trade 20-30 contracts at once, or would that be difficult in the ER2?

    ES vs ER2

The Russel future is great ! However, I wonder wether it will be difficult to trade e.g. 30 contracts at once... how is the slippage in the ER2 ? Greetings Marsupilami:D

    I LOVE the HSI futs!

I know that there was a discussion about this future ( Japanese Government Bond) earlier on in this thread, but I would like to ask some more questions about it. Is there anyone who trades this future intraday ? As far as I can see on the charts offered by futuresource, this future doesn't...
