LOL! I gotta stay bullish if these bearish TL's keep breaking, but I feel like a prime entry has already come and gone, so I will watch the rest of the move.

ha ha! I knew he/she wouldn't make friends gloating about someone having the market go against them. I think here comes EMG's original target.

Added at 99 evens. Stop is at 98 which is my b/e fill at the moment. EDIT: Chart looks like I'm going to get one-ticked, but I can deal with that.... Next potential long entries are either at 96.75's, or 95.25's

Yeah I think I'll just scale out instead of taking it all at 1200. Maybe I can meet up with EMG.

Remember, he's willing to add above, so I think he's hanging in there ok.

    1200 or bust (literally) :)

Ha ha, see THAT is why 90% of day traders lose. THEY JUST LOSE.

Right, and 1164.25 is right near where the ES was trading at 11:40, so it sounds like EMG is in for an R10 right about where he mentioned his short trade. ARE WE WARM?!?

Man, I absolutely sucked today. I had a decent long this morning, and then peed most of it away between 7:15 and 8:30 PST.

We still might see that print before EOD.

I don't have a specific link, but I'm fairly certain it is within the past 2 months of this thread. The trend days are easy, as one volume is rising higher and higher, and the other is completely flatlined. I will see if I can dig up other specifics, but again, just search for ammo's posts...

Totally. Although I don't always refer to it, Ammo's mention that Market Breadth only has 4 or so patterns made it really easy to backtest and lock in what those patterns are.

I agree. What bums me out is the ambiguity. I personally find it hard to believe that any retail edge could be jeopardized by posting tips to a group of 15 people on a messageboard. I don't mind the after-the-fact charts, but I think it would be helpful to explain how people are coming to...

I have a feeling that his entry price is when he greets us :) "GOOD MORNING TRADERS?!?" Either that, or he reaches out when he's already comfortably in the green.

Yeah there is no way I would have had the sack to sit through that pullback actually. Nice one!

It looks like the market is trying to make a move towards the 1214ish area. I'm pretty bad with overall direction calls for the day, but the TICKs are still bearish for now so I have to assume that's what is trying to happen.

No worries, it took me a year to learn that one myself ;) LONG.

This was a huge lesson for me as well. I found that my entry price was either the same or better if I waited to sell the first pullback as opposed to selling on the way up and having it go against me. Waiting for the pullback allowed virtually no heat.
