hubris in America while Venezuelans starve. malaria makes a cutback

Sig, you were doing fine until you started ragging on those who worked, paid taxes, served in the armed forces and funded countless charitable organizations for decades. Prejudice is prejudice.

Ninjatrader Brokerage - Any experience with these?

I use Ninja and have cleared through Dorman for years. The only problem I've had was when Mirus wet the bed trying to clone Zenfire about a year and a half ago...otherwise, all good.

When your trading day becomes mundane, you're on your way. Learning new and complex things can be exhausting. And I agree with lugar....incorporate some regular physical activity into your life and watch your diet.

The Mark Douglas books are excellent as well as Steenbarger but a far less know one is Yvan Byeajee's Paradigm Shift which I can highly recommend. Yvan also encourages meditation as a valuable practice for the trader.

Trump will lower corporate tax to 15% from 35% !

The power establishment already cut their deals with Hillary, the turf is carved up....Trump has no chance. What the voters might think is irrelevant. That said, tax reform is greatly needed but no chance of that either, count on higher taxes and more regulation.

    nq vs es

NQ trades about 150k contracts a day while the ES averages a couple million. Slippage issues become relevant much sooner with respect to position size with the NQ vs the ES.

    nq vs es

There are markets that give you a bigger bang for the buck than the ES but restrict on size of position due to trade volume. Agree on boring but am not trading for thrills.

Understanding the Risk vs Reward of Multiple Contracts

I trade all in and all out. Have tried various optimization strategies and have found them to be more trouble than they are worth. As stated in this thread, it's a matter of personal preference but I am fine with wins more frequent and larger than losses (but not 2-1).

Informal survey on the accuracy of indicators

Not applicable, price exhibits skewed kertosis. The only time MA is indicative of future price is when PA is flat.....which is hardly an ideal time to speculate.
