Are the 2008 stats forward tested results? What years did you optimize on? Do backtested results match closely with forward tested results? If you actually created your results by optimizing on 2008 you have a lot to learn.... Nobody will take you seriously if it's just backtested results...

no. i do there are plenty of canadian prop firms that offer .0002 per share comms and remote. a search will find you a number of those firms

My size is based on the question "how much do I plan to lose on this trade if I'm wrong?". If my out is 10 cents away and I'm willing to risk 300, then my position will be 3000 shares. Regardless of BP. But for my trading style, I probably rarely use more than 20% of my BP at any given moment...

Well I work prop so I don't run into that problem because I'm given more BP than I would need 99% of the time. Nothing worse than missing a good opportunity because you are lacking BP. I don't trade positions based on BP, I trade based on risk.

My concern about attending one of these events is that I can no longer act like an asshat on ET afterwards because I'll no longer be faceless. :p Won't be able to attend this one but would love to go to the next one and shoot the shit. Have fun.

Makes a difference if you're doing 50 million volume a month. If I'm looking for the cheapest option, first I hit EdgeA if there's any shares available (is free), then I go for NYSE, then whatever.
