The final answer is maybe, unless you open the next card and reveal the bar which follows the last black spike. Otherwise anything other than 'maybe' would be cheating.

Well, in this particular case even the answer "maybe" will do because the next bar after the spike (not in the drill picture) sends a big jolt to remind that we are experiencing a sentiment shift. I am talking about the type of bar one very rarely sees as not change.

drill: I keep seeing PA's everywhere I go even if they are not there. So far the answer to everything seems to be very clear: "MAYBE"

Except for certain cases of channel overlap. In other words the above doesn't always hold true for channels. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2135502 http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2087324#post2087324 EDIT: Obviously a different context...

His concern may have something to do with the fact that p2 is not suppose to be inside the prev traverse.

Assuming the reversal in this context meant mode changing from non-dominance to dominance, the assertion is not correct because the RTL break precedes the change in dominance.

Missed annotation of the accelerated traverse. The comment in the bottom right corner seem to explain the situation rather well: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2086621

Spydertrader, would you mind commenting on 15:00 bar. I see volume doubling and think it must be PA. However, that which must come next, never did and 1505 was change. I keep seeing PA everywhere, where there's a significant volume difference - but it does not seem to be the only...

Thank you for the chart. Would I be correct in stating that 11:10 represents a signal for change (Peak Volume) which ended the first pink traverse of the red channel and began a Lateral Traverse?

Thank you kindly for your continuing support. ¡Oy, and I though only beginners are supposed to jump fractals. :D As always, the missing ingredient resided right in front of my face, wondering why can't I see it. My linear thinking got me into the trouble again. :D

I don't agree. The market speaks loud on every single bar. I just like to learn to understand it's language, if you will, that's all.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. Yes, I was able to recognize in real time the market signalling the Point 1 in the Green accelerated up traverse. (Blue p3) There is absolutely no doubt about that in my mind. The blue trendlines are there, whether I like it or not. (...
