using weekly charts for long-term trends ?

Experience shows otherwise, the more time frames you use the more confused you get! Traders should not believe all the crap they read on trading books, like the top-down approach by Elder and the like. In fact, brokers want us to be really really confused so they can profit from our emotional...

using weekly charts for long-term trends ?

It depends on what you are looking for. Some classical chart patterns do not work on higher time frames, like the weekly, monthly or yearly charts and will simply generate tons and tons of false signals. Generally speaking, all the so-called consolidation patterns, like the flags and pennants...

Most profitable system on collective2 has no subscribers

No at all, but I know a few fellow traders who had the same problem than original poster (they had a huge drawdown and lost all their Collective2 subscribers very quickly). You obviously lost your good manners, Sir. Anyway.

Most profitable system on collective2 has no subscribers

Keep in mind that there is no bear market in Forex. Never. The whole problem has to do with your drawdown and maximum drawdown. Make 2% a month on average with 20% max drawdown (or less) in 5 years and you will get hundreds of subscribers. But generate a 70% max drawdown (like in your case)...

    The so-called New World Order

"The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes." Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter, 1952. "To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism, and...

Lets go on the record, 3 ways you can be destroyed.

Again, with the upcoming diabolical so-called "New World Order", there won't be any country anymore, just ONE government. France, Italy, Canada, USA, etc... pfffffttttt...gone.

Can a single individual annually earn like 70% to over 100% in the long term?

Be well too. And keep me posted if you open your own 250% profit a year hedge fund, I will sign up immediately. I am sick and tired of making only 35% a year with Medallion Fund by Renaissance Technologies :p

Can a single individual annually earn like 70% to over 100% in the long term?

Reread your post, it is hysterically funny. You are basically saying it's easy to make 250% a year, the trader "just" needs to make 1% profit per day. Piece of cake. It's like saying "Hey, it's easy to make over a billion dollars a year, just earn 3 millions a day!" Listen, if a trader could...

Can a single individual annually earn like 70% to over 100% in the long term?

To make 250% a year like you suggested, you need to win 1,000 times in a row (4 trades/day x 250 days = 1000 consecutive winning trades). In other words, you are assuming that your profit target will be reached 100% of the time without triggering any stop. Please stop dreaming.o_O

the market is totally being controlled!

Good question. You will notice that more than 50% of the time, these breakouts never pullback. Breakouts without a pullback are very powerful and usually generate the biggest gains in percentage terms. Unfortunately, it is simply too risky to chase them, at least for me. As a rule of...

Let's not forget about all the illegal uploading/downloading of copyrighted books/music/movies too, although the extent of the alleged financial damage generated by the activity of these internet pirates is still unclear.

the market is totally being controlled!

The breakout line is easy to draw, even though there is some subjectivity involved. But granted, drawing these lines does require some experience. Here are the breakout lines for LEAF and POWR, see below.

the market is totally being controlled!

You are welcome. Yes, but the pros do not trade (chase) breakouts like that, they wait for a pullback to the breakout line and THEN they buy. This gives them the best entry point possible and a highly improved risk/reward ratio, assuming the breakout is real of course. These pullbacks occur...

the market is totally being controlled!

Well, generally speaking, any stock with over 250K average trading volume is considered liquid enough for most traders. LEAF traded at nearly 1M shares during the last trading session. Here is another breakout in progress in a stock (POWR) with over 1M shares average trading volume, see chart...
