Another thought on today's ES action, I showed the Daily ES approaching a down channel RTL. I asked myself what must I see for this to BO? Increasing black volume is required and I expect to see this on the 5 minute chart, and I expect a lot of it will be required to punch through. Well...

8833, May I offer a minor suggestion, I see on your excel log sheet you have headings of: trade entering and trade exiting logic. This method is continuation or change. Perhaps changing the headings to, trade continuation and trade change, may help with your mindset. Think about reversing...

Hey 8833, Just looking at your chart I noticed something I was doing too. It looks like early in the day you are only trading the non dominant traverse, and not getting in on the dominant ones. Perhaps this may help, see my post on this page...

Enjoying an AHA day today! What I did to help me learn to trade what the market was telling me was to force myself to only reverse. So I set up the sim and focused on what was coming next. My goal wasn't to SCT or anything else but to really take all the market had to offer and not 'settle'...

No need to jump in too fast. Let's say reading all the journals and supporting documents take 6 months. Then practicing the methods take another 6 months. After that it takes another year to get the 'execution' skills down for the methods. Is it worth it? Ask yourself if you would spend...
