TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

Well then why do you want to have a more powerful government that can crack down on speech that you disagree with? It's funny how differently you and I perceive things, especially how you percieve the Republican party as manly and gun oriented, even macho and violent, while I perceive them...

Why would a Governor care about a state trooper

You should hope so, as the results of the investigation was already set to be due four days before the election and "it's likely to be damaging." She's trying to stonewall and now refusing to cooperate to delay the findings, although I'm skeptical that she'll be successful.

Why would a Governor care about a state trooper

Not sure where you're getting this information, but here's the original report about his 2005 suspension. It includes the unsubstantiated allegation from Palin's family about drinking while on duty (although I bet he did it.)...

TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

Freedom, glorious freeeeeeedom... You know, as shocking as this may be to you, Republicans won't be in power forever, and the power you give the government now will be held by the Democrats eventually. Think about that.

TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

Well that's true, other than the law, Bush's statements, and two court decisions, there's nothing at all. Not sure how you can slam your eyes closed so well. But hey, if it's legal, then Palin should have no problems with this. After all, there aren't any appelate or Supreme court...

Why would a Governor care about a state trooper

Unfortunately that's not a firing offense, as he was suspended. I agree, the guy's a dirtbag, but my beliefs aren't reality. If he's exonerated after an investigation, he's exonerated. You can't fire him. And Governors can't fire other people who refuse to fire people they don't like.

$28,500 a pop to hear Barbara Streisand sing (gag) and Obama speak. How's McCain coming along?

JOE BIDEN LACK of CHARITABLE GIVING!

Not quite, AAA, you missed the "legally required" part. Cheney had to donate because he was legally required to sign an agreement to disburse the proceeds from his stock options in 2001 two days before he took office. Naturally he did this in the most dirtbaggery method possible. Not to...

Obama doesn't take PAC money, so you had to include everyone who's employed by one or even employed in the "financial services" industry. 90% of Obama's donors have given $200 or less and I've heard that his average donation is $109. (Yes, averages can be misleading.)

TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

No, it's clearly illegal. In addition to that court decision and Bush's statements, ANOTHER judge, Judge Vaughn Walker stated in his decision (where the only reason that the plaintiffs DID have standing was because the government didn't seize their documents fast enough) -- he said...

TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

That would carry a lot more weight if Bush hadn't said that legally wiretaps require court orders. Fair enough, you want to dismiss a court decision which was dismissed due to lack of standing, but how do you dismiss Bush when you're defending Bush?

Why would a Governor care about a state trooper

Uhhh probably not, AAA. She fired the Public Safety Commissioner. A trooper doesn't typically report to the Public Safety Commissioner, but to his shift supervisor and then Cpl, the Cpl typically reports to his Sgt. or CO. It's possible that person then reports to the Public Safety...

    Our Energy Future

:) That's funny. If that were true, we would have shifted to alternatives over the last fifty years -- because of a readily accessible source of oil. In my opinion the Republicans have no coherent alternative energy plan. Nuclear is great, but are unbuildable because no one wants them in...

TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

No citation is given, nor evidence provided for that accusaton that she was a member of the ACLU. (That's the problem with Wikipedia) However, she was a member of a group, and that group once donated money to the ACLU. That's only two degrees on separation from conflict of interest. Also...

Who did he admit this to? Who is saying that there are ties between him and the Obama campaign?

    Our Energy Future

Yes that's correct. In fact, the Democrats introduced a bill allowing drilling to within 50 miles of shoreline and the Republicans (last I heard) were outraged and objected to it.

TN Democrats son questioned about Palin's hacked email

Not at all actually. According to Bush wiretapping requires a warrant. "District Court Judge Anna Diggs Taylor ruled the NSA program violates the First Amendment, the Fourth Amendment, and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in her ACLU v. NSA decision. "It was never the intent of the...

How do you top Palin's not knowing the "Bush Doctrine?"

Please do, I'm intrigued at how you're connecting the dots based on the six degrees of Kevin Bacon.
