Guys, im new to this. Whats your take on the streetsmart pro software? I notice that there are many "trading" platforms out there but it seems the software is expensive and you must purchase data feed. so what am i missing by using the street smart platform?

wow, thats a good question! im not sure. the 60/40 is very lucrative though. i assume the index etf's are treated like stock options. why the tax break on the true indexes? hmm

hmmmm, sounds pretty nice.. seems like alot of noise is filtered out.. what kind of technical indicator would you use when trading an index? im a big fan of 10-20-50-200 period sma, support/resistance levels, fibb retracements, macd, stochastics, RSI, moneyflow, and basic candle...

umm, thanks for the definition but... "slippage is the difference between estimated transaction costs and the amount actually paid" My broker charges a specified amount. Clear as mud. thanks Limit orders lock purchase price. :confused:

Guys, Im a neophite to options. please define "slippage". ive read a few books and traded a few puts and calls (spleculative) and a collar on fcx and mos. Not sure where to go from here.
