The NYSE is just more inefficient and easier to read, but I think the Naz offers a lot more opportunities to make bigger money (NYSE news stories aside). There are just more speculative issues on the Naz which makes for more movement.

I will never understand people who will only trade the market in one direction. You dont choose which way the market is going to trade, it tells you which way it wants to go and believe me, its not always up. Why limit yourself?

I lost $1.13 on WLS the other day on the next print and I can guarentee you there was no way out for less than that loss. Thats the way it goes sometimes. Luckily I only had 300 shares so it was only a $350 loss. Glad i didnt take 1000+ shares!

If you hit an ECN, you get the fill. Regardless of the NYSE best bid or ask. Now, if your fill is a certain % away from the going market, you may be able to get the trade broken.
