Unfortunately, I do not trade this contract, however I do have a real time feed to it (no DOM though sorry). The reason I say it is a large contract size even for the mini is because each tick is worth ALOT percentage wise. Therefore you can see days with only 15 tick ranges... not a lot of...

The Nikkei does a lot of volume thats for sure! The only thing is that the tick size is huge. You can see a day with only a 10-20 tick range regularly. (discount the crash in march) What type of strategy do you employ? Thatll help choose which instrument fits best.

Perhaps I should be more specific. Has anyone TRADED the RTS Index future? If so could you share your experiences?

Realize however that the HSI can move 100 ticks in a minute. If you would be scalping the HSI you would mostly likely be going for 10-20 ticks each time. It is by far probably the most volatile liquid future, so commish shouldnt be a problem.

Does anyone here trade russian futures? I was able to pull up a daily chart of the RTS Index future, and volume is consistently above 1 million contracts a day! I never knew russian futures were so popular?! If anyone has any insight please share!
