Thanks a lot for your information. HOwever, the first method you outline will actually copy an dpaste only the data in the order fill window without the column headings (i.e. Time, EXCHANGE, QTY, etc..). I will try your other method however. Thanks a lot

I trade with chart analysis and orderflow. Actually, I tried the demo a little over a week ago and so the results of my experiment (i.e. comparison of X_TRADER vs OPENECRY) are somewhat current. Unless the new servers you speak of were released over the last week, that is.

Maybe I'll open a small account with them and run their DOM at the same time X_Trader (live version) is run just to see if there is really much of a difference.

I hadn't considered that. but i would think that since it is the demo that is designed to draw customers in (i.e. give customers a taste of the best the firm has to offer), the demo would be as fast as the real thing. Otherwise, customers are not seeing how fast the real thing really is before...

That is true. I tested x_trader demo against openecry demo. However, let me also say that I tested IB live data (not demo) against X-Trader demo and noticed the same lag.

I'm sorry but this is what I noticed in my own experiment. Maybe it was less than 1 second. However, the fact is that there is definitely a lag. for position traders, this is not necessarily a problem; but intraday traders are at a severe disadvantage, in my opinion

Here's a tip: install OEC, install X_TRADER and have them both run at the same time with their DOMs displayed for the same future. You will see that OEC lags X_TRADER by more than 1 second. Do the same thing with X_TRADER and Interactive Brokers and you will see the same thing happening...
