Wow last time I looked at the index futures at 8:00pm cst they were down pretty hard. Well its 4:30 cst and the midnight rally crew has been hard at work I see. I failed to participate last night what a mistake that was.

Trouble is with the range market by the time you spot the correction or rally its almost over. In this type of market you must anticipate, and throw all you fancy indicators out the window. This is one of the reasons so many cant trade a tight range market. It requires a leap of faith.

The best overnight runs occur when the markets close lower during the regular session. You can still profit even when it closes higher. But I am getting a little skittish, everyone is so giddy even myself. I can since this and it concerns me.

With INTC on deck after the close, you just know these futures will get vaulted straight up thru resistance at 10670 on YM. Opps looks like they might try and take it out before INTC reports.

Have you ever watched on a price ladder the overnight session on say YM? their is hardly any energy exerted getting it up, it almost just floats up on little one lots hitting the offer. Sometimes the spread can be 10 points. All I know is its profitable.

After 9:30-10:00 its pretty much over. Now we can sure count on the end of day jam up. Holding overnight is working like a charm for me and the midnight rally crew. Its so relaxing taking the days off and letting the day traders with their sweaty palms slug it out for a few point during the day.

Midnight rally keeps these sentiment indicators in check. Now if we opened down or flat and then rallied all day into the close, my goodness that would set off alarm bells. No folks the midnight rally gang will make sure things stay in a nice balance.

I figure if we can get a close under 10620, that would look pretty good for the midnight rally.

One more thing about these midnight ramps, they don't set off any sentiment indicators. When you open way up and drift sideways or down thru out the day, that keeps the sentiment indicators from becoming to excited. What a wonderfull thing.

Im done, made a bundle as I slept, man what a job. I am going to let all the day traders slug it out for a few points today. Me im ready to play some golf before it gets to hot. I will check back late this afternoon, and look for a possible new entry. Man what a job.
