Don't go through paypal, go through your credit card. Call the 800 number (on your card) or go to the site, and dispute the charge. You'll be much better off dealing with those at your credit card company rather than those at paypal.

Trading futures with MB should be done with caution when using the data feeds. CS is top notch, though. Think or Swim offers futures, although the commissions are steep, and they are mainly options. Both MB and TOS clear through Penson, so perhaps you should look specifically for brokers...

MB customer service is really good, however the reliability of the quotes is pitiful at best. I agree with the previous poster, go for a broker geared towards futures.

I can see one problem with using stops on options on SPY. For example, last quote for 147 call is bid @ .45, ask @ .55 . Theo price is .50 . You could get a fill at .50 more than likely (using a limit), but with a market, you'd get .45 (assuming you were selling) . With the Q's I don't think...

Agreed. If you are dead set on tossing money at his calls, just follow the CBOE-tv segment. Alot of what is on insideoptions (the pay site) is also up on cboetv and optionomonster.com for free.

When I traded with Scottrade, I'd get sub penny fills quite often, buying and selling. FWIW, I'd usually be taking liquidity.

I'd pass on the service as well. You'll only hear them talk about the good times, never the bad. Plus if you follow all calls you'll be spread thin. Eventually, at least one of the calls will make money, thought. Unfortunately that one good call doesn't make up for the 5-10 bad ones before it.

Think or swim. I like the web trading interface. Almost anything you can do in the software you can do in the web trading interface.

Also, very important that you see which exchange the options are traded on. You might buy an option without thinking about it, but if there is only 1 MM making a market, where is the competition? I hold some leaps that are only traded on PHLX, the spread is $4.00 . Stock is only $11 . Good stuff...

I like the liquidity in the ETFs. Thats not to say there is no liquidity in indicies (you know this of course), but everytime I decide to put on an SPX spread, I just get a headache :)
